Ag-Gag Anti-Whistleblower Bills: Keeping Americans in the Dark

What's the meat industry's response to the whistleblowing investigations revealing animal cruelty and food safety problems? It isn't to try to prevent these problems, but rather to prevent Americans from finding about the problems in the first place. Anti-whistleblower bills supported by the animal agriculture lobby would criminalize essentially anyone who tries to expose the conditions at factory farms and slaughter plants. The goal: to keep Americans in the dark about the rampant animal abuse in the world of factory farming.

Any food-producing farm that does this kind of thing to their animals doesn't deserve to be in the industry. It makes me sick that these people get so obsessed with making money, they'd so easily forfeit the welfare of their animals. No animal deserves to be treated as such, even if they are being bred for human consumption.

Police states pass laws, and there is always another law they want to pass. Do you think Nazi Germany let cameras into the death camps? They are ashamed of what they are doing, but they want to keep on doing it anyway. Monsters are people who do not care. Ask a senator about these laws and he will say - I don't know what you are talking about, but I am very busy right now.

Just go vegan!!! At least, just try it. How about changing your world one bite at a time? It is possible and often many folks say they are healthier. Can certainly help with earsing some of your carbon footprints. Doesnt even make sense to grow crops to feed animals to slaughter when many children are starving to death elsewhere in the world???

You're just a horrible person then. We are all aware that they serve a purpose to feed us. However, there are humane ways to do it. There are ways to kill an animal painlessly. You obviously don't care about that. I would gladly torture people like you for 1 minute just to see if it would change your minds.
