www.freakenSweet.com. Landing at Wellington is quite the experience. As you gaze out the window you start getting closer and closer to the water and just before you think you're gonna land in the sea, the tarmac whips underneath you and you touch down.

  • definately a Q300. Flown on one myself here in NZ. Air NZ has about 19 of them, which replaced an old Saab 340 fleet. : )

  • @baron494 No you're wrong they were originally designed and manufactured De Haviland and was called the Dash 8 but they are now being produced by Bombardier who changed the name to Q300 and so technically they are no longer Dash 8's.

  • fck air nz... its a De haviland Dash8 q300 not a bombadier q300... GET UR FACTS RIGHT!

  • its a Dash Q400

  • @bakertony Q300, or Dash-8.

  • smooth landing

  • I'm surprised the Dash 8's landing gear collapse!!!

  • Lol. Extreme sport ftw! We have to make things so complicated :D

  • yeah ive been to Wellington and it really does feel like youre gonna land in the water. Its because the airport is between these 2 big hills on the water.

  • That's how it is landing at the Anchorage Intl Airport too, it feels like you're going to land in the water and then you suddenly hit the runway.

  • that was a frocka friendship. nice landing.
