Choi Eun-A, a released unification activist after 6 month in jail under the charge of the National Security Law has a short comment on her feeling and thought on her release on Nov. 27, 2009.
She has been arrested with other five Pan Korean Alliance for Reunification of Korea (PKAR) activists on May 7, 2009, by the National IntelligenceService who attempted to oppress the peaceful unification movement in South Korea, under the right wing Lee Myung Bak government.
The six were Lee Kyu-Jae (Chairman, 72), Lee Kyeong-Won (Secretary, 45), and Choi Eun-A (37) in the headquarter office of the South Korea branch, PKAR, Seoul and Yoon Joo-Hyung (42, Organizing Director, Korea Peasants League, Choongbuk-do branch) Jang, Min-Kyeong (39, Executive Director, 6.15 Joint Committee, Choongbuk-do branch) and Oh, Soon-Wan (37, Secretary, 6.15 Joint Committee, Choongbuk-do branch).
The latter three were released by probation on September 10, 2009 and the former three were released on Nov. 27, 2009 by bail out. The Court positively reviewed the lawyers file for a Constitutional Court hearing to test the constitutionality of the Protection of Communication Secrets Act, abused by the prosecutors.
The spiritual support by the international activists including Bruce Gagnon (Secretary), MacGregor Eddy and Makiko Sato, Global Network against Weapons and Nuclear Power in Space was also a big help for the six activists in jail.
