wow...no one can cook ribs like the yanks! you guys know your ribs....here in australia im about to cook them now and thought i would get a few tips first...its now clear i need more than a few tips!
Using this method I recommend Marinating ribs with "1 tbsp of liquid smoke (your choice) and 3/4 cup of italian salad dressing for 24hrs". The acid from the dressing delivers the smoke into the meat. and the searing delivers the tender just like the video.
Great video!!! Grillin ribs never looked so easy. I feel ribs should never be grilled only slow baked either in an oven or a smoker for flavor. The longer you give Rib meat to cook. the longer the collagin (between muscle fibers) has to dissolve into gelatin that gives it the tenderness. By searing the ribs first to lock in the juice is genius. But for smoke flavor searing may be bad.
