Rc Plane Trainer (almost a crash)

Heya, this is my first flight with a rc plane, i choosed a trainer model with a .46 OS nitro engine, i only flew 1-2 hour in the simulator before this maiden flight.

Trainer model (noname): 1650 Wingspawn, highwinged
OS 46 AX engine runs on 16% nitro
Fuataba 6EX including the servos in that packade, nothing fancy

I have 5+ years experience with rc helicopters so flying it wasnt that hard at all!

16% nitro ? That's allot!! I use 5% ;)

I used 5 before i changed to 16. I had so much problems keeping the engine on idling, and could spend 10 minutes trying to start it. And my old nitro had ricin oil to, very messy.

I changed to 16% Pro-Synth, synthetic oil, and runs like a dream, and not greasy at all after a flight. :-)

Hehehe yes i stalled it alot "newbie mistake" still need som moore practice with planes, but i probably wont fly this one again. Im going for Edge 540 electric and flatout models. :-)

Better check your balance first before flight...

The tail of this plane is unbalanced....

You need to weight out the center under the headwing, and keep it well levelled...

There is over 20% over level to the tail...and you must re-adjust it.

Dude what you doing going from heli's to planes .. dont go there !! why oh why would you want to fly a plank for after heli flying .. i guess you want to try something new eh !! bet you get your heli out next time instead of the plane..he he from 1 heli pilot to another,,

haha yah man KEEP flyin this plane man don't go to edge 540 or anything yet! you WILL crash just tame down flying this plane and get used to it

You are flying too slow. Trainers can fly just fine - you just need to speed up a bit and keep away from the stall. Check the vids on my channel called "Russian MAC/MDS 61 engine" and "AceFlyer's Skyraider versus 20 knot wind" to see how a trainer *can* be flown.
