This really doesn't seem like the guy's being serious at all, imo. He kept on throwing the same things at Jason. He looked pretty chill throughout... I'm going to try to upload some Fight Quest fights so I can show you fellas the difference.

  • @MrChicken1976 lol thats exactly why he won he was starving

  • The fighters in this show never went full go on either Bill Duff or Jason. So I wouldn't look at the matches in this show as real competitive fights. They're more like training matches.

  • @joetenista Then they shouldn't pretend it's a real fight.

  • fight quest is way better at least those guys really fight alot human weapon fights look fake as hell

  • @lilpackerboy but didnt muay thai come from muay boran?

  • stupid

  • @Blahb27 Its all over southeast asia, or have you forgotten that Cambodai is nowhere near as rich or powerful as Thailand? Bokator is what Cambodia sent out, Pradal Serey was merely another path Bokator went; an inferior one at that :D The generalized rules are usually the same, and if there are limits its more on Pradal Serey than MT. The judges are looking for control and pace, which damage does count as well as position. You ever forearm block a good kick from linear or circular and arm lose.

  • @wiggalama Again, that only applies to muai thai rules. All other rulesystems don't awards points for abstract things like 'damage'.

By the way, you can only break your forearm if you block incorrectly. Both arm bones need to be aligned properly.

  • @Blahb27 Scoring is relevant for prize fighters as Southeast Asia is about poverty, and most of the high level fighters and low level fighters even engage in pleasing the judges. More fights go to decision that KO or TKO. And its not points but consideration of where the fights going that credit is given for damaging an opponent. Aside from check kicks where they take more damage than you and can even break the shin, blocking a kick makes you take damage. My front roundhouse fractured a forearm.

  • Uh, I have to assume they aren't allowed to punch, because they could have, but they didn't......
