THE PHANTOM FIVE - Cool It

This one's a real head scratcher. Collect records long enough and you're bound to stumble upon something obscure as this. It's the band's sole 45, and (ok, let see how long it takes the internet to show me I'm wrong), from the early 60s. Apart from that, there's nothing on this group whatsoever. Both sides are great. The b side 'Graveyard', is a descent surf instrumental, but the a side is the winner here in my opinion and to my knowledge, hasn't been comped anywhere. So much for my posts for this month....... more to come soon !

BTW If you go to 'Graveyard', look up the comment by "TheAceBoiling", He was the bass player on 'Graveyard'. He should be able to answer your questions.

what find,, fender amps guitar straight in,, got a jimmie vaughan pickin thing goin on a bit, good bass line for the times. mixed really well,,two guitars bass drums and sax,, can you say californy?
