6/1/2011 Horse Jumping Lesson

Another lesson, we we're finally able to ride outside after about 3 lessons stuck in the indoor arena. We have a show this weekend, hopefully I'll be able to record it and put it up here, it'll be his second hunter show. He used to do plenty of western and english pleasure shows but he's never done any hunter/jumper ones but I know he'll be a good boy(: We're in the 2'3" division which isn't much but when the jumps start getting to the 2'6" range he gets a little nervous and to do that at a show with a bunch of "monster" flowers and branches and what not, that are going "to eat him"... well it's just best to not have to deal with that(;

You're a very good rider! The only thing I would have to say is that you should pump less with your body and don't chase with your elbows. Otherwise awesome job!
