Thanks for watching, liking, and supporting my hobby! Part 3 coming up as soon as I finish carving and covering everything in peat. If you have any question post them in the comments and I'll get to them.

  • what is the best back ground that u use expo foam or the kitty litter ty m8 awesme looking tank

  • @WoodysReptiles foam

  • This looks like its gonna be another stellar piece man! Where do you get such nice tanks! That had to of ran you a few hundred. I'm excited to see more. You said your going to cover it in silicone and pete moss, do you stick the moss on with the silicone?

I would like to try making one of these, I've got some plans in my head, but I want to make one that I can remove the glass in areas so I can do some macro photography. Any tank suggestions?

  • @Robootification Dried peat moss sticks to silicone. And it actually didnt cost me anything. It and the base/canopy cost the customer 600$ though :P As for a tank, try exo-terra or zoomed if you want something with doors on the front. Making sure the glass is clean makes my semi-macro pictures come out good though.

  • wow do you think you can show me a great stuff background how to ive been haveing problems and my first time i tryed i failed back cracked and fom went out word messing my 30gallon tall ... im sad but i did get my first 2 darts :D so please help me i would want great help and it seems to me you know alot about what your doing :) help me out bro thanks

  • @TheBrandonLand I wont be making a how-to for foaming because there isnt much to watch. You are adding way to much foam at once. The surface cures, and the inside keeps expanding putting pressure on the glass. Next time build a background in multiple layers, no more then 1 inch thick at a time.

  • @jgrimmier What happened to part 3 lol haven't you already finished the viv or is this a new one

  • That's some truly amazing work; it inspires me quite a lot. I'll be working on my biggest build thus far very soon and will probably be asking a ton of questions soon enough!

  • U really inspire me, I´m about to tear down my corner Reef tank. For a build "Grimmstyle" It is pretty deep though (120cm) so I really need to plan this, don´t want to end up with something crappy looking.

  • Can't wait to see part 3!
