A quick video demonstrating how the NVIDIA GeForce 525M runs battlefield 3 on all settings. Sorry about the bad gameplay, it was more about seeing how the game runs. This is from about 15 minutes of gameplay from my first BF3 PC game ever...

The AK-47m has to be the most satisfying FPS gun of all time.

@Bearballsruffian2 Yeah definately, I've only had 3 games so far that are unplayable in high, Crysis, BF3 and Metro 2033. I have a fair amount of games too! 2GB card should show a nice improvement on mine aswell man

Thanks for posting these videos. I have basically the same setup as you and was worried that skyrim would not run well, but your video was reassuring and I bought it, and it runs great :D

Now I might have to go and buy BF3 seeing as it runs decently :P

@houseofcards613 Before you buy (guessing you haven't yet) the campaign doesn't run quite as smooth as online (by that I mean it doesn't run so well haha) and at times the multiplayer can get quite demanding and push the laptop. If you're okay with playing in Low then yeah this will be great haha

I was impressed with the Skyrim performance too, it runs on my 1080p 32 in TV in medium, perfect really haha

My question is even on medium setting with the 525m card in it. Will it look better than the game on console?

@Stevenyc69 I'm not sure about PS3, but xbox 360 graphics are essentially < Low. I imagine PS3 is a little better, but the game on medium looks nice and sharp on this laptop

@0ChrisMackle0 When you play a game it usually heats up and goes audible for a bit. You never get a silent fan on a laptop though, especially one this powerful. Like the other guy said, for the most part its fine. It's my cooling pad that makes the damn noise! XD

will battlefield 3 run on at least medium settings with no lag with these specs 2.9 processor ghz whatever 8 gb ram and nvdia gt 525 i got 8 gb ram by upgrading

Here's a tip, put graphic settings on performance NOT power saver. If you don't know how google it.
