i am dreaming today
of a subdivision in Hell: perfectly
good souls
moving in on the land of the Damned;
building square lawns with little pyramids, angel
fountains and walkways
of crushed agate and amethyst :crossing
into Hell's dark-lit districts
by day and night
for the shopping and entertainment : flame-red
shoes and jewellry
cause a sensation
at a fine debutante's party
in Heaven
