They are very smart to leave us wanting more of the story... it encourages us to turn to the actual text (scriptures) for the entire story, and this is a good thing:)

I was really into the film but then it abruptly ends without finishing the story... needs more... the audience needs to know that Esther was successful and that the Lord blessed her and her people through her faith and courage
