If, like me, you always longed for Star Trek Replicas but couldn't afford them, this might be for you. No, it's not a Master Replicas or Roddenberry. Those are in a class by themselves. But, it's an amazingly accurate model and downright fun! DST has come up with a winner here. Yes, the Moire may be a little noisy, but it's a far cry from that prism tape, stick on decal! If accuracy with a friendly price tag are your main goals, consider DST products. You might just be surprised!

Mmmm... not a fan personally. I'm more disappointed with the smaller scanner. You need to push one button to make the noise, but then turn a separate wheel to get the component to rotate.

This would've seemed ok but with all the delays with the product you'd expect something like a motor in there.

To my mind they should've just had one big tricorder (the science one) and sold McCoy's 'salt shaker' one separately. They could've made it better!

the episode was "Elaan of Troyius" nurse chapel uses it scanning the ambassador that Elaan stabs in sickbay. My science tricorder is on its way from NewForce comics......I have waited so long on these awesome products...nice video thanks for posting it....Terry
