Build a custom firmware with snowbreeze make activated then restore with iTunes 4.3.1 is working fine for me.

u need to cut your 112 call within 2 sec not within 3. make sure you press call and end straight away. do not wait 2 sec. It should than work

someone probably already mentioned but you do have to wait 15 seconds AFTER it boots up. you're actually suppose to wait until you see 1 signal bar. its not 15 seconds for the "soft to boot"
