Yes, the end of Arcade mode.

I had to fight Leopaldon seventeen times before level 999.

Along the way, characters naturally get stronger. Eventually, all characters will have gold attributes without the power. For example, Johnny can teleport when he dashes, but his Mist Finer won't instakill you. Combine that with EX characters and two vs one matches, and you will most likely rage a few times.

I'm sure anyone can do this, because unlike other Survival modes in Guilty Gear, this one allows you to start from any level above any Leopaldon defeat.

Hold on, how do you go past Survival Level 100? I got the game without a manual, so I have no idea how this works...

After you beat level 100, go to options and look for survival level. You should be able to go up to 150. When you beat 150, you can increase it to 200, and so on.

It's because it's the last time you fight him in Arcade mode. Every single opponent gets stronger the higher level you are.
