Remember Gracie - ep 7 - 1/2

hey yall! so guess what? there was this HUGE thunderstorm today... the power was out for like, 3 hours. well i dont really know how long it was, be it FELT like 3 hours, even though it was probably only like, 1.
also- im leaving for tennessee on friday, which means no computer for however long i'm there ='( so again im REALLY sorry! but guess what? i have to wake up at 4 am to catch a 6:30 flight :[

it was raining. hard. actually, it was an all out downpour. yeah, i don't just mean the real rain. me and joe were arguing when the phone rang. it was nick. he said we had to get down to the hospital. i asked him what was wrong, but the storm made the line get fuzzy. all i heard was car, tree, and bad. joe must have seen the worried look on my face, because i could see him reflecting it.

joe- what's wrong?

demi- someones in the hospital

joe- who?!?

demi- i dont know! the line went dead... but i think they hit a tree or something. c'mon we have to get to the hospital.

joe's POV
demi was on the phone, they were just talking, but all of a sudden she got this real worried expression. i asked her what was wrong, but all she said was that someone was in the hospital, so thats where we went. we got there and nick and selena were in the waiting room. i could tell that demi was relieved that sel was okay, she very visibly relaxed. but that didn't last when she saw sel, who was a complete trainwreck.

demi- (runs over) WHAT HAPPENED!?!?

sel- (get up and hugs her and just cries)

demi- (hugs back) shhh, okay, c'mon sweetie (takes her over to the far corner) whats wrong lena? whos in here? (shivers) geez this place gives me the chills

sel- (giggles a little and sniffs) uh, m-miley

demi- (looks at her dumbfounded [lol, funny word]) what? im sorry i thought you just said MILEY was here, as in your sister? your twin sister?

sel- (nods)

demi- oh my gosh! sel! im so sorry! what happened?

sel- i dont know. i just got a call from the hospital, they asked if i was her sister, and i told them i was. they said that she was in a car accident and that she was here. so nick drove me over.

demi- no news yet?

sel- shes still in the OR. i think they said that she hit her head or something? i dont know, i was crying too hard, but she lost a lot of blood.

demi- oh lena, thats awful!

sel- tell me about it

demi- i would but i dont know very much...

sel- (sighs) i know the feeling...

demi- (gives her a sympathetic pat)

just as they get back to the boys...

tay- SELENA!

sel- taylor! (runs over and hugs her)

tay- (sarcastic) thanks for calling me!

sel- ohmygod tay! im sorry! i was freaking out and i didn't know what to do, nick practically had to carry me here! i didn't even call demi, nick did and im so used to you not coming i just-

tay- SEL! its okay! relax!

sel- oh

tay- (laughs) so what happened hun?

sel- miley hit a tree

tay- with a car or walking?

sel- with her car taylor

tay- i knew that

sel- (sighs) shes in the OR, i dont know how much longer-

nurse- family of Miley Gomez?

sel- (runs up to her) THATS ME!

nurse- okay, well i have some good news and some bad news, and tehn some more bad news

sel- good news first

nurse- miley is going to live

sel- (lets out a long sigh) thank God

nurse- and the bad news

sel- (winces) okay

nurse- she hit her head on the side window. major cuncussion, lost a lot of blood, and has possibly suffered brain damage, but we wont know that for sure until she wakes up

sel- (sits down) what kind of brain damage?

nurse- again ma'am, we cant know for sure, but she hit the lower back of her head, so she will probably have trouble with things like talking and walking. [a/n- thats true! the lower back part of your brain controls balance and walking and talking]

sel- when is she going to wake up?

nurse- thats the other bad news... we dont know when she'll wake up, shes in a coma...

demi- oh well, thats too bad can we go now?

tay- DEMI!

demi- IM SORRY! i told you this place freaks me out!
