For the fourth year in a row Garrett Reynolds destroyed the street course and claimed yet another X Games gold medal. His technical combos and lines were so consistent it was like watching someone play a video game with cheat codes. Check out the highlights here along with the results and a ton of photos from street finals...
Dennis Enarson and Dakota Roche rounded out the podium and both of them rode amazing, but Jeremiah Smith was another one that stood out. This was his first time in a U.S. X Games street contest, and he had no problems making the finals with wild moves like a superman seatgrab rail hop.
A lot of people were looking forward to seeing the alternants Chad Kerley and Dan Lacey ride, but luckily all the riders stayed healthy, so unfortunately for all of us that meant we didn't get to see what Chad and Dan had to offer. However, from watching Chad ride practice, I think it's safe to say he would have done very well. Hopefully he'll be in next year...
