Man the right 'hard to reach' bolt didn't have enough room to come out, so I had to jack up some pliers from under and push the underbody up a bit to get it out, and now the new b&m won't go in, that same bolt wont go back in, what a pain the ass!!

@thanhphamatl Yes if the shifter does not come with the plate you do not need to remove it.

@joshds25 so if it not come with a plate then you can install short shifter without removing plate?

@thanhphamatl the video shows how to install both styles of shifters - like the B&M shifters come with their own plates.

Do you put snap ring back after you remove it?

@thanhphamatl you dont use the snap ring with a short shifter - did you watch the video? All this info is in there.

@bokiss13 It was a customers car - its a stick on kind - buy the real carbon stuff if your gonna use it!
