A detailed guide through the proper way to perform a basic abdonimal crunch. A lot of time when people are thinking they're doing an ab exercise, they're actually working more of their hip flexors (the muscles that lift your upper leg). As in the video, to make sure you're target the rectus abdominus (the top front part of your abs) place one fist at the belly botton, the other at the tip of the V at your ribcage. Keep the chin slightly tucked throughout the whole movement. As you come up and go back down, your fists should be coming closer together as your spine flexes in the crunch position and extends as you go back to the ground. Be sure not to pull on the head too much. The best way to keep that from happening is to keep the elbows wide with middle fingers at your temples. You're gonna wanna come about half way up between your knees and the ground, and gradually roll your spine down to the ground with control.. Repeat 1 to 1000 times a day. Enjoy ;)

  • @flameon888 planks with a super flat lower back... that and kicks can really help those lower abs..... OR straight arm hanging leg lifts... bent at first, then straight...

  • Lol YouTube commenters are retarded.

  • this looks harder than i thought!

  • yep, try and space them out if your doing 1,000 a day (if you stick to 1,000 and not give in).

just do it 4 days a week otherwise the muscle tissue wont heal and wont develop.

  • too many crunches
