Thanks to the people who helped me to know the true and misterious origins of this version of the song. This almost 3-year mystery has finally been solved thanks to you.

It seems the first editions of the album back in 2002 had this version on them. When the album was re-released in October 2003 it had the new version of Sunday Morning that we all know. This info is not 100% accurate, as I have no official source and I most likely won't be able to prove it myself, as I would need to get that very first edition from the album from 2002, but I came to that conclusion after various people claimed they had this version of the song in their Songs About Jane CDs.

So let me get this straight. You had to delete the music from this video because of copyright infringement. . . but half the videos to the direct right of my comment are allowed to keep theirs? See, Youtube -- you see how your rules cannot be enforced? For every video you erase, four more will replace them. So, I can't listen using this video. I'll just click one of the related ones. And I'll be sure to avoid VEVO, out of spite.

Thank you for your comprehension :) I find it plain stupid how music companies' copyrights work in these cases (VEVO). I'm pretty sure the guys from Maroon 5 themselves knew about my video: it's the most popular Sunday Morning video on YouTube. If they were actually upset about it, they would have already done something in the almost 5 years period since I posted this video.

why not just delete the video? it makes more sense than leaving a video intended to be listened to with no audio.

I want people to listen to this song, but I want to be subtle about it. You can download the song if you read the complete description, but if I posted it explicitly, my video could be completely removed, people wouldn't get access to the mp3 file and then those who know my YouTube account would start sending pm's to me saying "ERMAHGERD! what happened to Sunday Morning?"
