Please tell me I'm wrong, but hasn't there been street racing in the US from when they invented the car??? If that's true then it's been going on for over a century, what makes them think they can stop it now. It's part of american popular culture and it's not just young kids doing it. The best thing that can happen is that you give them somewhere legal to go and do it that doesn't cost the earth, then you would get atleast some of it off the street

1200 people die each day from smoking and that's legal, how many have died street racing just this year now? I'm guessing it's a lot less than 1200...in a whole YEAR! Seems like their priorities are backwards. It doesn't give them the right to crush peoples cars...teenagers do stupid things, catch them and give them communnity service. Hold the car untill they're done maybe. Pretty soon they'll be banning F&F movies!
