Gujarat Likely To Be Hit By Cyclone 'Phet'

Kutch and Saurshtra coastal areas have been put under high alert by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Gujarat for the upsurge of a storm in Arabian Sea which might develop into a cyclone "Phet". Maharashtra, Gujarat along with Goa are on High alert.

The fishermen and workers in that area have been warned to stay away from the sea for the next 48 hours. A cyclone alert has been put up in those areas
