Great clip of Mickey and Judy in their forties. They both still looked pretty good here, seemed happy, and mixed well. You can see here that Mickey was a pretty good dancer. It's sad to hear that his family's stealing from him. I remember he declared bankruptcy in the '70s or early '80s. The guy's gotta be about 90 now, and he didn't look too well the last time I saw him on TV. His family should let the man live out his remaining time in peace.

@localibran totally agreed. if they had been together maybe shed still be alive. he wouldve been good for her. sadly he always jus saw her as a friend, even tho she was interested in him.

Pure greatest! Mickey's family recently has been stealing his awards and trying to get at his money. He spoke to a Senate committee about helping the Elderly protect what belongs to them as well as be treated kindly as they age and need assistance. Judy was pushed much too hard by the studio as a teen and fame consumed her. Shirley Temple got out in her early twenties. Mickey had a rocky life with marriages and booze.

CBS should've aired this as their first show. I bett more viewers would have tuned in. Even though the Donald O'Connor show rated pretty high for the first show. It was amazing to see these two stars who really worked Magic at MGM. They made 10 films together and were the first teenage sensation combo. They were very in tuned to the other and it showed. They had a few stars who did the show more than once & Mickey Should've been one of them.
