Here's my video! One thing, the end of my "speech" got a little cut off, after '...doesn't go their way...", I say, "...bring them down."
Here's my full "speech" minus intro and outro by me in journalist mode:
"I'm glad you asked me that question. In my pursuit of a career in the television industry, I have visited news stations such as CNN, and learned about dealing with all kinds of people, some of these people being patriots, and some quite the opposite, so I feel I can give you a valid answer.
Anyway, Patriotism to me is a combination of two very similar words. Faith and Pride. Faith, by definition, is loyalty or allegiance to a cause, usually religious. Faith can also sometimes imply loyalty without reason. For example, many people don't have faith in monotheistic religion because there is no proof of god. However, those with faith trust their higher being, because that is what they believe. Patriotism is similar to faith in this way. There are many Americans that I know personally that openly state that we live in a horrible country that is at a breaking point due to issues such as the economy and our oft-criticized President. However, there are also people, such as myself, who have faith in the country and our electoral body in helping turn the country around in our time of crisis.
Pride is similar to faith. While faith refers to what you believe, pride refers to how you believe. Pride, by definition, is self-respect. People show pride in many different ways. Through color, through dress, and through speech. A good example is college sports fans. On an autumnal Saturday afternoon you will most likely find a Georgia Bulldog fan wearing red and black chanting the fight song as the team runs for a touchdown. Patriots also show pride. Some patriots show their pride for America by carrying pictures or wearing clothing that bears the flag or a bald eagle. Most of my peers show their patriotism with their passionate rhetoric of American dignitaries, support of the troops, and also by buying American goods. They also don't let cynics, who often speak of leaving the country if something doesn't go their way, put them down."
Very unique concept.

thanks!
honestly i chose to do it like that because i wanted to Not look in the camera, because that was one of the main things i learned in school in my broadcasting class, never look into the camera. And although this would be one of the few appropriate times to break the 4th wall, i chose not to. :D

you gotta make adjustments to your surroundings, like mine, which was the smallest room ever made. It's where we shoot the morning announcements for school.
