An excerpt from the afternoon of readings at the San Francisco Main Library.

Mutanabbi Street was the Baghdad neighborhood for books, bookselling and cafes. It was bombed in 2007. The reading event was organized by Beau Beausoleil of the Great Overland Book Company.

The video features Beau's welcome and introduction, Iraqi writer Sinan Antoon, poet Diane di Prima and the current poet laureate of San Francisco- Jack Hirschman.
