  • hey guys, was just wondering while the one of you plays the E/G# does the other stay on the A chord as i think i heard it in the video? and thanks btw this video helped me alot (: really love your version

  • @xxxsticksxxx

No the other guitar plays a melody using octaves.

  • @boominband Hey man! Nice tutorial and everything, but there is a part in the song YOU play that i can't figure out and have been struggling with for a day now, its around 1:40 in your actual cover. Could you perhaps explain in a reply to this message what frets and strings? Would be cool! Peace and respect from Denmark.

  • @PhilTheWankah

the rhythm chord is E/Gsharp. Which is basically a E chord with G sharp bass note on the 6th string. the little riff is octave shapes on the 5th string, fret 11th(Ab), 9th(Gb), 6th(Eb) thats the notes being played. this help?

  • @boominband Hey bro, I was wndering if you could like make tabs if you know how(: its easier for me to look up tabs. But this is also helpful(:

  • Thanks a LOT for making this video!

  • nevermind i just went back and heard that the bottom strings are open lol sorry. i had them barred no wonder it sounded a mess.

  • Whats up? One question I have is what tuning is this exactly? I tried playing it in standard but just sounds very wrong. I can play the chords no problem so its definitely something with my tuning. Thanks for the tutorial it helped.

  • @boominband thanks man.. cover you guys did sounds amazing. very different from the actual song but it sounds amazing. keep rockin guys.

  • @tommy3454

no worries. its playing octave's from the 11th fret on the 5th string which is G#, then F# 9th fret, then D# 6th fret.

playing this melody over E/G# sounds awsome it creamed us lol. Anymore questions just ask. BOOMIN
