Band tailed pigeon are way faster then racing homer. When I got hunting if u see them flying close to you, it sounds like a jet.

the best thing my husband did for my pet life was introduce me to pigeons and doves... although i've never raced them, the birds do bring a sense of peace into your life...

My great-grandfather did this a hundred years ago; I think it's pretty awesome how the sport still lives.

Great job!.....Great Hobby!....This tradition is spreading around the world like fire...My brother has pigeons which fly 10 to 15 hrs per day--once in week. They stay up in sky for 10 hrs minimum. They are special breeds. We brought them from Pakistan.
