This is a remarkable Lamborghini Miura SV filmed at La VIe En Bleu at Prescott Hill Climb 2009. The Miura enforced and embedded the traditional supercar layout with the new mid engined look that the Miura shown in the 60's. It's because of this car that we see mid- engined great cars today!

i think this is the one which was owned by Toni Iommi from Black Sabbath...it was restored with extraordinary care to any detail, it's like it's brand new now, i read an article about this car...

They might produce a small series of new Miuras, but right now Lamborghini is concentrating on the Murcielago successor with an all new engine. Also, their 4 door rival for the Porsche Panamera, possibly named Estoque after the concept car, is also a priority. Some say they are planning a modern equivalent of the LM002.

Dont think they could go far wrong if they kept the style of the miura and kept it the same...but using the engine and running gear from the Murcielago, they could improve and refine it on a massive scale...i mean the early Miura's had engine fires and the front end lifted after traveling at high speeds making the miura unstable....all this could be sorted....just think what lamborghni could do...It would get ferarri worrying....Everybody would want one...

It would sell no doubt. Or perhaps Lamborghin fears that would take some magic off the original Miura? It's kind of ironic since the Countach was such a huge impact on the supercar world, Lamborghini re-used the concept for Diablo,Murcielago and Gallardo. Lord knows some think the Detroit is desperate for ideas when they make modern versions of the Dodge Challenger,Chevy Camaro and Ford GT40... Perhaps the original Miura can't be bettered much...

Yeah i agree.........i dont see why lamborghini should'nt make a miura...with the style of the original but with a modern up to date engine and technology....just like ford did with the GT40...
