Ejami: November 29, 2011

EJ finds Sami on his doorstep. She tells him, "Look, what we did was wrong. Really wrong." She woke up this morning thinking it was an awful nightmare. "Move on my dear," he suggests but she can't. "If Rafe knew..." EJ interrupts, "He won't. Yesterday meant nothing." "I did exactly what my mother did," she says and remembers as a teenager, walking in on Marlena, betraying Roman with John. Sami thinks Rafe deserves better than her. She doesn't know how to live with herself. EJ grabs her arm, and she grunts at him, telling him not to touch her. Is she going to tell Rafe the truth? She wonders if there's a way she can make him understand. EJ says he can't understand it. He won't allow her to jeopardize his relationship with Nicole. Sami scoffs at that but EJ says he loves Nicole and wants a wonderful relationship with her. One similar to the one Sami has with Rafe. Sami rolls her eyes. EJ confesses, "I have never wanted anyone or anything this much." Sami doesn't care. EJ says if Rafe found out what she did, her marriage would be over. She will only hurt him by easing her guilty conscience. "What we did was sickening," Sami tells him. They agree to keep it secret. Sami arrives home to Rafe setting a romantic scene. They kiss and Sami says she doesn't deserve him. She loves him and if she ever lost him... Rafe assures her she's stuck with him, so they make out. Nicole arrives to the mansion and EJ, bag in hand, asks how fast she can pack? He wants to take her to New York City to catch dinner and a show. Nicole finds it sudden. She admits to having second thoughts. She's afraid of getting hurt, but loves him, even though she worries it's a mistake. EJ professes his love and promises to be a better man. "Loving me is not a mistake."
