Walter's first foot launch with the new ATOS V. This was on November 8, 2009 at Big Boy Junction near Dyersburg, TN. We were a little worried about his nose cone when it began to flap and very relieved when he landed with no problems. A good first flight for Walter. He is now on the dark side! lol.

  • Is that the top of your nose cone flapping in the wind? If it is, be careful about that!

I had a friend who lost the nose cone on his VR. The glider wanted to stall at over 30 mph. His landing was very scary and he tore himself up on landing after a 90 foot long drag in the grass, dirt and small rocks out here in CA.

  • Yes it was the nose cone and we are aware of the seriousness of loosing it. Thank You.
