There already is! =) Buffy and Angel both continued in comics/graphic novels. (Every Joss Whedon series has continued in comics actually :D)

Yea, not really made very well. Plus, there is a season 8, but it's in books, not in a television series.

Tho, they are thinking of remaking the original BTVS movie...
