No one can justify this. They were both at fault. Rachel about the being on a break, it was wrong of her and I do believe they were on that break, but it still doesn't make it better that Ross got that drunk and slept with someone else after only a few hours.
No one is innocent here.

When Ross on his knees clings to her, and Rachel with tears in her eyes pushes him away, thats when your heart drops to the floor.
Congrats to David and Jennifer, they were able to take a serious moment and make it just that. Serious, even in the middle of a comedy, they had real moments as they would actually happen.
