As far as this year goes, I like the Mercilus pick but I think we had a bigger need and better value at the OL position since Zeitler, Glenn, and Silatolu were still available and we let go Winston and Brisiel. With one pick we could have helped out Andre, Schaub, and Foster. I just think Reed, Cushing, and Barwin have the LBs under control. Granted, Mercilus will definitely succeed in our system.

The Mario pick was smart if people would think about it. Everyone just wanted the local kid in VY or Bush who was getting all the attention in the media. VY worked like 80% in the shotgun at UT and wasn't a smart pick. Bush is not a ZBS runner. His style is to dance around and make something happen. He isn't a one cut and see the hole and hit it hard type of runner. I remember everyone bashed me when it came to liking the Mario pick.
