North Table Creek Garden Railroad get together 2009, a.k.a. "Marty's thing"

Lots of enthusiasts from www.mylargescale.com (and friends) came from across the country to Marty's North Table Creek Garden Railroad in Nebraska City, NE. Marty has a very large outdoor layout in G Scale. The layout is battery operated, so every train you see has batteries hidden somewhere in one of the cars.

The #463 is a Bachmann that has had RCS r/c battery control and Sierra digital sound added. The cars are AMS coaches that have been modified with Rio Grande UK Model's kits. The wheel sets have been changed to ball- bearing to reduce drag. The entire consist is lighted through the battery in the boxcar. The engine's r/c and battery + sound are located in it's tender.

Is the #463 k-27 an Accucraft??? I have that same engine, and also really great video from Marty's wish i could have been there to broadcast live on our live channel for at least the two days Friday/Saturday.

Outstanding footage & layout. Saw a MKT car, cool. Our new hobby shop is in Boonville MO, in MKT country. I have the room for a layout such as this in time. Great job. 5 stars
