This video contains a selection of video footage that the people of Sderot, Israel want the world to see. The video highlights the damage which results from Qassam/Kassam Rockets that have reportedly been fired by Hamas, from Gaza. It is such Rocket Attacks that Israel uses as justification for its current actions in Gaza.

I first want to offer my sympathy and support to the People of Sderot and other areas within Israel that are targeted by Hamas Rockets... I also wish to mention to the Palestinian People, that whilst I am most certainly sympathetic toward the pain and suffering you are forced to endure... I believe that Hamas' actions of targeting innocent Israeli Civilians is not helping your cause... and I ask that you do whatever you can to encourage Hamas to put an end to the firing of Missiles into Israel, so that we who are doing our best to ensure the rights of the Palestinian People are protected, will not be hindered from doing so !

In conclusion... I wish to note that whilst I am fully supportive of Israel's right to defend itself... I am totally opposed to the disproportionate manner in which the Israeli Defense Force responds. I believe that the dropping of leaflets to warn Gaza Residents of a pending attack, (apart from littering the city) is of little value when it comes to the protection of innocent civilians. Gaza is one of the most densely populated areas in the world... and the people of Gaza do not have the luxury of going elsewhere until things quieten down, due to the fact that they are blocked from leaving Gaza.

The 'right of self-defense' requires that measures taken to protect yourself, are proportionate to the threat of which you are faced. You are also required to take all steps necessary to ensure that innocent people are not harmed or killed !!!

The actions of both Hamas and the Israeli Defense Force are disgraceful... and as such, the International Community (through the United Nations Security Council) should take whatever action is necessary to ensure an immediate end to hostilities... and work together toward achieving a 'peaceful' resolution which not only prevents further loss of life, but preserves the human rights and dignity of all people affected by the Conflict !!!

So would you suggest a proportionate response? In other words, Israel should fire 40 rockets daily into random civilian areas in Gaza?

Compare the figures...

Those killed by Hamas... against those killed by the IDF.

Compare the damage...

That caused by Hamas' Homemade Rockets... against the bombs dropped by the Israeli Air Force.

I am very much opposed to the actions of Hamas... and I have been very critical of them targeting innocent civilians.

At the same time however... I have to also be critical of Israel's failure to minimise the number of civilian casualties that result from their actions !!!

There is more to this, than the killing of civilians...

We need to look at ending the 'discrimination' that is shown toward the Palestinian People, and removing the stranglehold that Israel holds over the People of Gaza !

The vast majority of Palestinian People want to live in peace.

They also want to live free, dignified lives... without the heavy restrictions imposed upon them by Israel.

'Tolerance and Respect' are important precursors for the achievement of Peace !!!

2-With up to date weaponry & full control of the air Israel fail in 1983 & 2006 to break down a lightly armed resistance, they withdraw under massive killing & destruction of civilian targets (Always)

3-The majority of the Peace Movement in ISRAEL ex-soldiers whom refuse to obey criminal orders or the ones whom refuse to sign for the mandatory service(Israel impose a jail sentence for that)
