SMW Custom Level: Starshroom Valley

This level is centered around mushrooms. Each kind of shroom does something different to help you progress further through the level. Like the message boxes in the video say, red shrooms do nothing, and are basically decoration. Pink shrooms can be stood on, and white shrooms with glowing stems hint at some nearby secret such as an extra life. The green mushrooms are bouncy note blocks in disguise, while the bright green neon shrooms are disguising the following blocks: Turn blocks, coin blocks, 1up blocks, and vine blocks.

While making the stage, I put several small bonus areas with about 20 coins each. There are probably at least 10 of these bonus areas. I didn't intend on putting so many of them, so this level is going to be down a secret route on the world map... as soon as I learn how to hack overworld maps...

It's a tune from a game called Mischief Makers. I forgot to put it in the description though.

Wow how long did it take you to make it? And what program do you use?

I'm pretty slow when it comes to making levels, and this one took around two weeks.

The program I use is called Lunar Magic, which is a hacking program for SMW.

This is actually quite impressive. It's nothing new, but that's a good thing; it shows you have a very good grasp of level composition, and a three-way balance between simplicity, difficulty, and secrets. Well done and well played.
