waste of money. the rising ocean due to global warming will submerge the whole project. this would cost them more to keep the errosion at bay than to build it in the first place.

wasnt talking about the engineers but about the construction workers and laborers who actually build these things.

ha funny thing is... now they are building a building a bunch of islands around it called the Universe btw... Nakheel is the company doing this... they are also gonna build a 1.4 km high building... omg.

the only reason dubai can make such things is because they have access to the cheapest labour market in the world. They pay very nominal amounts to laboures from south asian countries,
