The fact is this is an artistic and subjective sport, and there are required artistic components.  And Sasha has the purist artistry, great technique, and athleticism, just a lack of mental concentration or over zealousness. Either way, I think its safe to say that personality, lines, and moves can take you somewhere, at least in this sport. However, speed skating...definitely not.

I wouldn't exactly call what she has accomplished "nowhere." She's an olympic silver medalist, as well as multiple world titles, she is a national champion, a 5 time national silver medalist (always behind Kwan and sometimes controversy surrounding those competitions). She did have shining moments of exquisite programing where she was able to put it together, unfortunately it was never for an Olympics or Worlds.
