In todays critique Craig looks at a beautiful environmental portrait. Craig talks about framing and quality of light. In particular Craig describes the lighting qualities and patterns associated with Rembrandt lighting. Craig discusses using rescaling as a PS tool to cut down on an area of an image that may be competing with the main subject. Craig also looks at using curves to make image areas go darker without increasing local contrast in those areas. Craig also shows an extremely simple way to create lighting effects in PS.
