Times Square Van -- Bomb Scare

Times Square is a major intersection in Manhattan, a borough of New York City, at the junction of Broadway and Seventh Avenue and stretching from West 42nd to West 47th Streets. The Times Square area consists of the blocks between Sixth and Eighth Avenues from east to west, and West 40th and West 53rd Streets from south to north, making up the western part of the commercial area of Midtown Manhattan.

Formerly named Longacre Square, Times Square was renamed after the Times Building (now One Times Square) in April 1904. Times Square, sometimes known as the "Crossroads of the World," has achieved the status of an iconic world landmark and has become a symbol of New York City. Times Square is principally defined by its spectaculars, animated, digital advertisements.

The intersection of Broadway and 42nd Street, at the south-east corner of Times Square, is the Eastern Terminus of the Lincoln Highway, the first road across the United States of America.

@vladika07, And why would the "terrorists" repeatly have plans to carry out their attacks in the same cities over and over again? I also find it funny that no terrorists has ever tried to blow up the white house in DC since they are at war with the criminals in there. Why only go for the ordinary Americans? If there is a "terrorist" (a real one not the one that is hired by the government or the one that's seeking to avenge their dead loved ones, then they would target the media and governments

If a group of "terrorists" are capable of carrying explosives into a single location in a single American city like that, then they should be capable of carrying dozens of explosives into dozens of American city at once so that they would have a much greater odds in successfully bombing their targets. Why would the "terrorists" bomb one place at a time when it's easier to confuse their enemies if they had dozens of operations at once.
