Playing three string cigar box guitar in the desert

Taking a musical break under a mesquite tree. The guitar is a three string resonator cigar box guitar I made for a friend. As usual it will be hard to part with it.

This guitar has a home made magnetic pickup. But it is not plugged in for this video. It's just loud because it's a resonator.

Hi Chicken poper, I guess it depends on how fancy you make it. I reckon the one in this video has about $150/$200 worth of parts in it, but I don't remember exactly. You can certainly do it a lot cheaper. Probably $30 if you use a piezo transducer and go simple. Google "cigar box nation" and you will find a bunch of info and a bunch of great people.
