  • OK, how is it that God is so damn worried about some hicksvile southern football game, but isn't worried about the thousands of children who die from starvation daily? Oh, I forgot, this is the same god who told the Israelites to commit genocide, take slaves, murder rape victims if no one hears them scream, and kill those that are different.

    Separation of Church and State!

  • Prayer: How to do nothing and still believe you're helping.

Two hands working can do more than a thousand clasped in prayer.

  • God bless the USA. I hope they'll never change into atheistic Europe, where the Islam is the future.

  • The Lord's prayer... If you change the First 2 words to "Hitler" or "Stalin" you have a very scary prayer. Why is the God of the great flood exterminator of nearly all creatures bible worth invoking... and what's more it's unAmerican to invite a foreign Power (from outer space) to take over your country..

  • And americans wonder why the world laughs so hard at them?! These religiot morons and their childish superstitions are an insult to human inteligence.

  • Religiots!

  • It IS offensive to all non-Christians be they religious or not. Everyone is free to pray individually or in groups if they so choose, it is illegal CONSTITUTIONALLY for such a prayer to be an official part of the proceedings. It sounds to me like some of these persons of faith are spoiling for a fight. Well, they're going to get one.

  • Jesus HATES public prayer:

"When you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men... But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen."

    (Matthew 6: 5-8).

  • Texas Governor Perry asked for prayers to end the fires-- yes, nothing fails like prayers.

  • nothing fails like prayer
