Not entirely accurate. Jenkem in AMERICA is a host. Jenkem in Africa is a reality. Multiple reports from the early 90s record it's usage in the capital city of Zambia (Lusaka).

The news reports about it becoming popular in America are a hoax perpetrated by the internet as a joke. But it's real in Lusaka, brah.
