  • When was this taped off of USA Network?

  • I'm gonna say 1993?

  • Week of August 2, 1993, to be exact.

  • Sweet... I was just about to begin first grade... :-)

  • As of right now, Josh, I am working on a chronological timeline for when the $25K and $100K Pyramids were on USA Network, beginning with the week of 10/17/88, which was when USA Network began airing the $25K Pyramid, and ending with the week of 9/4/95, when the $100K Pyramid, the only version of Pyramid remaining left.

I'm not interested in a chornological timeline for GSN airings, because it's much more complicated to do and USA Network did a much better job airing both 80's Pyramid editions.

  • Nice! :-)

  • Lol !! That's where DR. DRE got his "$20 sack pyramid" from !!

  • I think it was Dick's signature sign off. He may have done the same thing on American Bandstand.

  • Vicky Lawrence must have appeared more than any other celebrity. She turned 60 in March.

  • Dick Clark Pyramid Ruled! All others paled to Perfection!

  • I remember the series "Eden" definitely airing in '93, I believe that summer.

The one thing I always loved about the first season episodes was that you could always hear that sweet bass riff during the consolation prize read.
