Level 99 in FF12 in under 50 hours with little story progress? Seems impossible, doesn't it, considering you don't have access to the embroidered tippet? What's more, it's not just one character that gets this, but 4 and it's doable in potentially 40 hours at a very fast run! This video is comprised of 8 stages with typically 3 parts in each stage. Stage 1 introduces you to the process and prepares you. To shave off time, defeat the Rogue Tomato first thing after the level up (level 2 is good).

  • respond to this comment if your play time was over 500 hours im curious

  • My total play time across multiple games in FF12 is about 800 or so hours, only 300 or so in my longest one.

  • that's kinda taking a long time

is all you're doing is killing again and again without going through the story?

or is there some kinda method?

  • This is all done without advancing the story. This is called powerleveling. In my case, I'd call it extreme powerleveling. My Disgaea 2 setup is probably the most extreme you can get - I haven't touched Disgaea 2's story and yet, I hold the world record for the biggest single target damage popup ever - 11 1/2 billion and I'm only getting higher still 950+ hours into the game on the game clock (1150 if quitting and reloading is included, for perfecting items).

  • Why do you play it safe when fighting the wolves early on? You said to use a potion once your health hits 70. I get not trying to be reckless but isn't that a little wasteful? I personally use them at around 20-30

  • The new version (my GameFAQs guide) calls for 50 as the threshold instead and only getting those around the Rogue Tomato. Besides, these videos are heavily out of date and almost not worth using. My GameFAQs guide is much better on this regard.
