1989 • From the Faster & Louder album. Hootie & The Blowfish did a great cover of this song. A great music video with some wonderful images. •

  • Impressed, very impressed. Like Hootie's version better (Darius is awesome - mind blowing live)but F & L have an amazing togetherness. Must find out more about them. Thanks for posting this video.

  • This was a F&L song. Hootie covered it - and did a great job. I like both versions - hey, it's allowed!

BTW, this video won an Emmy. Very "arty" for it's time. And first Country video to have nudity. Yep, she's naked - in a Man Ray sort of way.

  • Darius Rucker couldn't carry F&L's Guitars, much less do justice to the awesome song....F&L is the best duo nobody ever heard of. I was there in the 80's and I am here now, F&L forever!

  • Great Songwriting, Country music was Great back then, I miss the good stuff, Country is crap now.

  • Hootie and the Blowfish did a far better job with this song. Darius Rucker's vocals are far better and the instrumental is great.

  • @BenoitS42 Bill Lloyd plays all piano on this album.

  • im 19 and i love this song

  • Great. I had only heard the Hootie remake, which is one of my favorites. This original is incredible.

  • who plays the piano at the end? Sounds so much like Bruce Hornsby (to me).

  • I am the same way, this was good stuff but it seems to be gone for good :(

  • Thank you for saying what I have been telling people for quite some time now. Country music is not what it used to be. There are a ton of talentless people in Nashville being signed by record companies only wanting to market them because of a look or because they are some teenager with pretty eyes. The music doesn't matter to them any longer. I am convinced most people really don't know good music when they hear it.

  • when did they record that song? Which album - I'd love to hear the NGR boys' take on this song...

BRING BACK ACTS LIKE THIS, COUNTRY MUSIC!
