Mount Fuji (Fujisan) is Japan's highest mountain at 3,776 meters. It is a dormant volcano, which most recently erupted in 1708. It is not surprising that the nicely cone-shaped volcano has been worshiped as a sacred mountain and experienced big popularity among artists and common people. Mount Fuji is admired for its beauty from afar during the cold months of winter, showing off with snow white caps. But Mt. Fuji is officially open for climbing only during summer from July to September where the dangers of snow and ice are absent.
All videos taken during this year's climb up to the peak and crater, 15-16 Aug 2008. This is my very first video edit...
