  • Thanks for putting this up: used to love this game back in the days, especially the two player mode with my nephew. Good times.

What I particularly like is the simplicity of the game: you just have to bulldoze your way through endless enemies. It's like playing John Rambo in Rambo 2 and 3. :)

  • This game was great fun 2 player!

  • I don't remember the name of the game, maybe someone can help me with it...There was this game with a dude wearing a blue suit fighting other dudes that were throwing darts or whatever at him and if he hit the darts back he got amuscle upgrade and he ripped his clothes of and was able to fight better. In the game you started at the left and you were supposed to make your way to the left through enemies and fight bosses. Can anyone remember the name of the game?

  • Dude, looking back at this game and at the hero on the main menu.

    ITS CHARLIE SHEEN!!! :D

  • @SickmanDamian666

No, lazy programmers were to blame for lousy coin-op conversions to Amiga. Yes, the Amiga was far from arcade machine technology, but with proper coding and proper know-how arcade games could have been ported very nicely to the Amiga platform.

  • At 22:50 you DO lose a life. Other than that, great vid.

  • I was playing it almost the same way. Especially those spots where bullets cant get you. I watched whole 38mis of this game play. Ahhh good old times with A500...

  • The amiga wasn't very good at converting coin-op machines but always had their own game which was better than the arcade port (in this case Mercs). War zone and Mercs were the source for many a SEUCK game I used to make with pure plagiarism.

  • i used to cut the class just to go to my brothers house and play this game on 2 players. it was so awesome

  • Used to play it with a school friend of mine on his Amiga 500. You'd assume it's repetitive but we had quite a lot of fun playing it every now and then.

    Good stuff indeed.

  • this game is awesome. i thought it would be stupid to watch it again after all these years. but its got lovely variety. some good touches. great to watch

  • thanks for uploading this... i remember playing this when i was younger. A shame that my parents decided to sell our Amiga. :/
