@95steveexplorer 40 hours is the minimum total time you need to take the test. But it does not mean you will be ready at 40 hours. It took me 74 to finally be ready to take the test!

@johnmunoz18 You need to be 16 to solo. You can start whenever you want. 16 to solo and 17 to earn a private pilot license.

@johnmunoz18 hey , im 14 and im on my way to become a pilot .. my avg grade is c also .. i take flying at khpn (westchester) . it costs about 300 a lesson .. but u can get cheaper depending on where and how much u fly .. i have 14 hours since i was 12 .. i go about every month and ive learned aliot.. just save and youll be on your way to becoming a pilot .. btw u need about 40 hrs to be able to know everything to take the test ..
