Well, to be fair Scientology is no more of a scam than the other religions with tax exempt status in the USA, except they are more forward in taking your money.

I say remove the tax exempt status from ALL religions. It's bad enough we have religion to start with, but attracting money grabbers into it with tax exemption is a foolish thing to do.

Fine, you can have that opinion and I won't stop you - but Scientology isn't even a religion to start with, it's just an organisation.

Why should ANY religion have tax exempt status? If they make money they should pay tax, if they work for nothing then they don't need to pay any.

For me it's this simple. Why should one bullshit fairy tale belief system get tax exempt and not another?
